Many units utilize the Eight Step Training Model as a TTP when preparing training for their units. Although not included in ADP/ADRP 7-0, it is a commonly accepted practice and is found on ATN. The Army coordinates course allocations for schools, to include the resident training base and distributed training courses, through ATRRS. The ATRRS is the Army’s system of record for managing individual training requirements outside the unit using a centralized database.
